When the Governor’s order for senior living communities to shelter in place expired last month, we began re-opening our community on June 15. Our plan is to do this in phases, using an abundance of caution to protect our residents, their families and our staff.
Currently, we are allowing two immediate family members to visit at a time, Monday through Friday during business hours. Upon entering the community, visitors are screened and required to wear masks. They may spend time with residents in their apartments or outdoors, but not in public indoor spaces.
Additionally, our dining services have been restructured to offer scheduled dining by reservation in the Lakeside Grille, along with to-go ordering from the Bistro. Residents and staff will follow proper social distancing guidelines to achieve a safe dining experience for all.
As always our protocols are subject to change if circumstances in our immediate community change or if the CDC and government recommendations change. But we are most grateful for the cooperative efforts of our entire community, which have kept us safe so far and will stand us in good stead and we continue our progress to fully reopen.
